The game Space Invaders in this Gender Equality version serves as a tool to work on SDG 5 “Gender equality and empowerment of women and girls” and to emphasize the importance of eliminating all those inequalities and obstacles that prevent their rights from being protected and defended.
On the other hand, we can improve spatial capacity and performance in stressful situations and mental agility. With smallest children you can also work on motor skills and attention. In addition, if you want to learn more about SDG 5 and the challenges that still persist in different countries in the classroom, you can check the information and materials available in the sections SDG 5 and Teachers.
We come to the classic Space Invaders, in its Gender Equality version: “Out with inequality!”. You can play our fantastic version of this classic game, in its online and interactive version.
It’s very easy to play: shoot with the feminist fist the different discriminations and obstacles that girls and women suffer in many countries around the world, especially throughout their lives (at school and at work, when they want to travel or need to go to the doctor, etc…). But to defeat them and get the highest score possible before being eliminated, you will have to avoid the inequalities shot at you while moving from left to right. You have three attempts to defeat them!
Try it and discover this fantastic test of spatial and visual dexterity and attentiveness. Go for it!

To move use the arrow keys ‘→’, ‘←’ on your keyboard and the space bar to shoot.
