In this game we invite students to reflect on the obstacles that in many parts of the world children, and in particular girls, have to overcome to go to school every day. We also work on visual agility and attention to achieve the best result in the game. As in other games, remember that if you want to further discuss the main gender gaps in education in the classroom, you can refer to the information and materials available in the Teachers section.
You really like going to school, don’t you? In many countries, children, and especially girls, have to overcome many difficulties every day on their way to school (long walks with the danger of being assaulted on the way, fatigue after performing tasks such as fetching water before school, social standards that prevent girls from going to school when they are on ther periods or get pregnant very young, often because of sexual abuse by adults, etc…).
Can you help them to remove some of these obstacles? To do this, with your mouse, click and remove the prohibition symbols that appear. And if you manage to finish the first level without difficulty, try the next ones. Let’s play for equality!
