In this game we can work with students on the concept of gender stereotypes and sociocultural standards that have a great influence on our tastes, hobbies, dreams or decisions and that, in all corners of the world, continue to perpetuate inequalities between women and men from their childhood.
Thus, the game is designed to encourage an understanding that all people, regardless of gender, can enjoy and participate in a variety of activities, careers and roles in society. It can also help children question gender stereotypes and promote equality. To work on these issues, you will find additional material and readings in the Teachers section.
Have you ever heard that playing with dolls is for girls and that soccer is for boys? Help us get rid of these gender stereotypes and contribute to a world where, thanks to Equality, girls and boys throughout their lives can play with whatever they want and with whomever they enjoy the most, and carry out any activity or career they wish.
Do you dare to play and destroy stereotypes? Every time a new word appears, click on Toys/Activity/Profession and you will get rid of a stereotype. Good luck and have fun!
